Separate the room decisions from the lighting direction. Keep the original design image as the reference for layout, camera, openings, products, materials and visible fixtures. Then name one lighting scenario, such as soft daylight, overcast daylight or warm evening light, including where the light comes from, how hard the shadows should feel and what should remain unchanged. Generate a restrained after design, compare it with the original, and let a person decide whether it is suitable for presentation.

Check the room first, then the light: layout, openings, products, material boundaries, reflections and fittings. Flag possible changes, label the image as a presentation visual, and keep a person responsible for approval.

Use light to show wardrobe run, door rhythm, handles, floor and bed placement without changing proportions. Check that evening shadows do not conceal joinery or make a new fitting appear.
A short, specific instruction is usually more useful than a long list of style adjectives. These examples describe the intended visual change while making the boundary clear:
Daylight kitchen: "Use the original kitchen design image as the room, layout and camera reference. Keep the cabinetry, worktop, splashback, appliances, handles, openings and material boundaries unchanged. Use soft neutral daylight from the existing window direction, with gentle shadows and controlled reflections. Keep all visible fixtures in their existing positions. Do not add products or restyle the room."
Calm bathroom: "Keep the original bathroom design, camera, tile setting out, sanitaryware, brassware, mirror and shower screen. Create soft overcast daylight through the visible opening so the tile scale and room geometry remain easy to read. Preserve the visible fittings and do not invent new light sources."
Warm bedroom: "Keep the fitted-bedroom layout, wardrobe finish, door rhythm, handles, bed position, floor and visible fittings from the original design image. Create a restrained warm evening atmosphere using only the light sources already visible. Keep joinery edges readable and do not change the products, camera or room proportions."
Assess the workflow around the image rather than judging one attractive result.
