AI rendering software pricing: three current examples

This guide is published by ARQ. The monthly-billing examples below were checked on 15 September 2026. Compare the package as well as the headline price: a whole-team product and a single-user rendering plan serve different purchasing needs. The linked pricing pages give current taxes, offers and terms.

A US-dollar single-user price and a pound-sterling whole-team price are not directly interchangeable. Use the currency your business will actually pay, verify the total for the required users and record whether tax is included. A plan advertising 500 credits cannot be compared with 100 renders until you understand both charging rules.

What are you paying for: seats, credits or renders?

Seats determine who can use the software

A seat usually represents access for a user under the provider's licence. Record how many designers need access and whether an owner or reviewer needs an additional seat. A low individual price can become a different purchasing decision across a showroom team. Check shared-project access and credit pooling separately; they are not implied by buying several accounts.

Credits measure the provider's charging unit

Find the usage table for the operations you need. A still image, higher-resolution image, edit and video may consume different amounts. Record the selected mode alongside the charge during a trial. Do not divide a subscription by its credit count and call the result a price per finished kitchen image.

Unlimited describes an allowance, not the whole service

Read what is included. MyArchitectAI's pricing page describes unlimited static rendering and editing, while animation has separate plan allowances. Check permitted usage, output sizes and any limits on other operations. Unlimited attempts may suit experimentation, but preparation, selecting results and correcting mistakes still take your team's time.

Estimate your showroom's monthly rendering workload

Start with recent projects instead of an optimistic maximum. Count the rooms presented, camera views needed and material options the client actually sees. Include bathroom and fitted-bedroom work if the same allowance serves those teams.

1. Count deliverables. For illustration, ten projects with three views and two versions each need 60 finished still images.
2. Allow for attempts. If your own trial averages three generated attempts per finished image, plan for 180 attempts. This is an illustrative assumption, not an ARQ success rate.
3. Add other operations. List editing, enlargement and videos using each provider's charging rules.
4. Check the busy month. Model a realistic workload peak as well as the usual month, including revised client decisions.

Keep attempts separate from technical failures. Ask which failures consume allowance and whether a technically completed image that you reject still counts. Also check when allowances reset, whether unused capacity carries over, and what happens when the limit is reached. Annual payment does not automatically make the year's allowance available immediately.

Calculate cost per usable client image

Use two figures. The first is the cash spent on software and additional usage divided by approved images. The second adds the team's production time. Keep rejected attempts in the cost, but out of the approved-image count.

Illustrative calculation using fictional figures: a £120 monthly software bill spread across 100 approved images is £1.20 per image. Add four hours of presentation work at a £30 internal hourly cost and the operating cost becomes £240 ÷ 100 = £2.40 per approved image.

Replace those assumptions with your own records and apply the same calculation to each tool. Include preparation, corrections and approval so your comparison reflects the complete job. A useful subscription earns its place through the work your team can deliver with it.

Costs that a headline subscription can hide

Before committing, record the following beside each shortlisted plan. Leave an unanswered item as unknown until the vendor or a trial resolves it.

• Required output: resolution, watermarks, file types and whether the plan includes the image size your presentation needs.
• Team work: seats, shared projects, permission controls and retrieving the right revision when a colleague takes over.
• Additional tools: any CAD licence, image editor, upscaler or hardware needed to complete the workflow.
• Usage rules: expiry, resets, top-ups, limits, cancellation dates and the treatment of failed or rejected results.
• Client work: appropriate commercial usage and acceptable handling of the design images you provide.

Run a useful trial before choosing monthly or annual billing

Use a current, permission-cleared design image with details your team regularly sells: a visible appliance, a chosen cabinet finish and a worktop junction. Have the normal operator prepare the views, make a requested variation and hand the result to a colleague.

Record attempts, charges and time from preparation through approval. Compare the finished set with the original design, including materials and selected finishes. An attractive result that needs substantial correction belongs in the cost calculation.

Repeat with a more demanding representative room if the trial allowance permits. Monthly billing gives flexibility while you establish your workload; annual billing may suit predictable demand. Choose the ARQ allowance that fits your showroom

Keep the design software your team knows and use the JPG or PNG design images it already creates. ARQ enhances those images in an after-design workflow, giving your team a route from a design image to a reviewed client presentation. Automatic comparison helps your team spot possible changes, with a person responsible for final approval. Completed images count towards usage even when you decide they need another attempt. Include those attempts in your workload estimate, then use the trial to find the allowance that fits your own designs.
